4. Great tutorial! You asked about a free or one-pay software to make these video-to-gifs.
   I have been using a free application called Instagiffer, where you can customize the output by specifying different variables, like start time, duration (sec), frame rate, change the brightness, add effects., add captions, your own logo and much more.
